International Collaboration is Part of the Strategy of a Learning Community Mental Health Service
In this lecture, he will explore how international collaborations create a dynamic, exchange-driven environment for mental health professionals. Initiatives such as EUCOMS, a network aimed at advancing integrated, recovery-oriented care in Europe, have demonstrated the power of cross-border networks in fostering innovation in community mental health services. Through real-world examples, including his work in Ukraine, he will highlight the role of collaborative training, peer expertise, and evidence-based practices such as the Housing First and Individual Placement and Support (IPS) models. This talk will showcase how international collaboration strengthens mental health systems, promotes human rights, and ultimately creates more inclusive and sustainable community-based mental health services.
