Cultural Evening

During Cultural Evening, you’ll get the chance to experience the colors, flavors, and rhythms of all the countries represented at the congress. Travel from The Netherlands to Portugal, from Belgium to Hungary, all in one night! Enjoy traditional snacks, drinks, and music while discovering what makes each culture unique. Let’s celebrate the beauty of diversity and connect beyond borders. Bring your own treats and outfits or decorations that reflect your culture and get ready to share your traditions with others!

Dutch x Belgian Night

During the Dutch-Belgian Night, you’ll experience a typical student evening as it’s celebrated in both Belgium and the Netherlands. Expect a blend of warmth, liveliness, and traditions that define student life in both cultures, sometimes surprisingly similar, sometimes delightfully different. Enjoy a mix of music everyone can sing along to, taste our favourite snacks and drinks, and discover playful student traditions that have been passed down through generations. This is your chance to experience the best of both worlds !

Movie night

Take a break from the busy congress rhythm and join us for a relaxing movie night!

After days filled with inspiring lectures, new insights, and countless networking moments, this evening is all about unwinding. Grab a drink, enjoy a snack, and settle in for a film that dives into the world of psychology and perfectly fits our theme: “Breaking Boundaries”

Alumni night

As this year marks the 40th edition of the EFPSA Congress, we are delighted to warmly invite our alumni to celebrate this special milestone with us. This anniversary is not only a celebration of psychology students across Europe, but also of the strong and inspiring EFPSA community built over the years. To honour this shared history, we are hosting an Alumni Night dedicated to reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating lasting friendships across borders!

Excursion Day

In addition to a strong and inspiring scientific programme, the EFPSA Congress also offers participants the opportunity to explore a new country and experience the local culture. That is why each Congress features a dedicated excursion day: a full day designed for discovery, connection, and shared experiences beyond the conference setting.

For this special lustrum edition, participants can choose between two unique excursion options.

Option 1: Historical Castles

You may join a guided tour visiting two historical castles in the Netherlands, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich history and architecture.

Option 2: Maastricht City

Alternatively, you can opt to explore the city of Maastricht at your own pace, discovering its streets, culture, and atmosphere in a way that suits you best.

Participants are required to register for the Excursion Day via the form sent to them by email after their application has been accepted. Please note that places for the castle tour are limited, and registration is therefore first come, first served. Timely registration is strongly recommended.
