The connection between aviation and psychology

Aviation psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour, mental processes, and performance within aviation environments and Jenny has worked in the field for more than 15 years. The field explores topics like situational awareness, communication, stress, fatigue, safety culture, and teamwork. Aviation psychologists work to improve training, prevent human error, and enhance overall safety by understanding cognitive and emotional factors that influence performance. Insights help design better procedures, technology, and work environments, ensuring that
both flight operations and passenger experiences remain safe, efficient, and reliable.
