On behalf of the Kea Foundation, we give a presentation about euthanasia in cases of  severe mental disorders, as this may take place in the Netherlands under certain conditions.

We share a personal experience and, based on this, provide further explanation on the subject. Among other things, we discuss the due diligence requirements and the course of a euthanasia trajectory.

In addition, practical guidance is offered for care providers/ psychologists in their contact with people who have a persistent wish to die.
