Are you wondering what psychology is like outside of the lecture halls? In this session, I will share how I use behavioral science at UN Women Nederland to help reduce gender-based violence across municipalities in the Netherlands through our Orange the World campaign. Together, we will look at how theory becomes practice and what it really takes to implement psychology in a global institution. You will learn how psychological findings are used in real life preventative initiatives and why it is important to break down barriers between fields and borders to make a meaningful difference.
